Mid-Autumn Festival 2023

Mid-Autumn Festival 2023: The Untold Story

“On Mid-Autumn night, we carry lanterns through the streets…”

That familiar song echoes through every street and alley during the Mid-Autumn Festival — a time when children across the country joyfully parade with colorful lanterns under the radiant full moon.

The Mid-Autumn Festival (Tết Trung Thu) is one of the most anticipated celebrations in Vietnamese culture. It’s a time of beautiful traditions: families gather, prepare lavish offerings, and children sing and dance around festive tables filled with mooncakes, fruits, and sweet treats. More than just a festival, it represents reunion, love, and togetherness — moments when people come closer, sharing tea, mooncakes, and heartfelt conversations.

Understanding the deep meaning of this occasion, KiddiMath was excited to bring a night full of joy, creativity, and warm memories to all our young students this Mid-Autumn season.
