Discover the Art of Tò He — A Traditional Vietnamese Craft at KiddiMath!
Tò He is one of Vietnam’s most beloved traditional folk toys, cherished by children for generations. More than just a colorful, playful toy, Tò He represents a unique cultural tradition that continues to thrive today.
This week, KiddiMath is excited to introduce a fun and creative activity for our little learners — making Tò He figures using air-dry clay!

A Fun Lesson with Ms. My Linh
The activity began with Ms. My Linh engaging the children with an exciting question:
“Can you guess what skill we’re going to learn together today?”
The children explored the origins and cultural significance of Tò He, and learned about the traditional materials used. But to make it simple and fun, Ms. Linh introduced a modern twist: creating colorful Tò He figures from air-dry clay!
The children were given the freedom to express their creativity — they could sculpt animals, objects, or anything their imagination could dream up. And the best part? Each child could take their unique creation home as a special keepsake!
Guided Crafting and Proud Results
After a 20-minute hands-on crafting session, the children proudly displayed their Tò He creations, each piece vibrant and full of personality.
Let’s take a look at their wonderful artwork below! ✨
