Why Should You Let Your Child Join KiddiMath’s “Greening Vietnam” Skill Class?
At KiddiMath, we believe that nurturing a love for nature and teaching important life skills go hand in hand. That’s why we’ve created the “Greening Vietnam” skill-building class — a fun and meaningful activity for kids to learn, explore, and grow!
Guided by Ms. Uyen Thi
Our wonderful teacher, Ms. Uyen Thi, led this exciting session. The Kiddi were cheerful and full of energy as they learned all about sprouting mung beans (bean sprouts) and caring for plants
At the start of the class, Ms. Thi introduced the materials used in the activity: Mung beans (sprouting seeds), Sprouting container, Water, Cotton or a damp towel
Simple Steps to Grow Bean Sprouts:
Step 1: Prepare the sprouting container.
Step 2: Wash the mung beans and soak them in warm water for 4–6 hours (already pre-soaked by the teacher).
The Purpose of Today’s Activity:
Through this fun hands-on experience, Ms. Uyen Thi wanted the children to:
✨ Develop patience, carefulness, and love for nature
✨ Learn the importance of protecting the environment
✨ Feel the joy of planting, caring for, and harvesting their own food
At the end of the session, Ms. Thi showed beautiful photos of lush green forests and young seedlings, inspiring the kids to continue growing plants and playing a part in protecting the environment.
